Job Summary

Exciting full-time permanent positions are now open for Registered Nurses as a Scrub & Scout or Anaesthetics and PACU within a supportive perioperative team at Epworth Hawthorn.

You will make an impact by:

  • Delivering high-quality nursing care to ensure patient safety throughout their theatre journey
  • Recognising and responding to changing needs of the patient
  • Applying a safety-first mindset that sees a positive patient experience outcome
  • An ability to work autonomously and also as in a team

For you to be successful in this role

If you are a Registered Nurse seeking a position in a close-knit experienced perioperative environment supported by a dedicated leadership team we want to hear from you. You should be an effective communicator self-motivated and have a natural ability to demonstrate compassion and empathy toward patients.

You will have:

  • Experience in your area of speciality; Scrub/Scout or Anaesthetics & PACU
  • Current unrestricted AHPRA Nursing registration
  • Experience in Endoscopy Plastics Ear Nose & Throat or oral max is essential
  • Ability to work across a rotating roster of AM PM 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Post graduate qualifications in Perioperative Nursing will be highly regarded but not essential

About Epworth Hawthorn
Epworth Hawthorn is a boutique facility conveniently located on Burwood Road with excellent public transport links and parking options. The Perioperative Suite comprises 3 theatres and 2 procedure rooms Recovery a Short Stay with 8 acute surgical beds all located on one floor giving a unique patient journey from admission to discharge. Epworth Hawthorn specialises in day surgery plastics ENT urology and oral max.


Qualifications :

Post graduate qualifications in Perioperative Nursing will be highly regarded but not essential

The annual salary range for full time Registered Nurses AUD $82236 - $103280  super entitlements depending on registration type year level and position/experience (prorated for part-time).
