Procurment Operations Manager

Join a fast paced manufacturing organization where procurement plays a critical role in operational success. The Procurement Operations Manager will lead and execute the companys purchasing operations ensuring reliable material supply strong supplier performance and effective cost control.

This role oversees daily purchasing activities supplier relationships and procurement systems while working closely with production planning and warehouse teams. The ideal candidate is proactive detail oriented and experienced in managing procurement workflows while mitigating supply risks and improving operational efficiency.

The Procurement Operations Manager will also help establish purchasing procedures improve internal processes and lead a procurement team to ensure consistent performance and accountability across the organization.

Procurement Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee end to end purchasing operations including purchase orders and supplier confirmations

Ensure purchasing aligns with production schedules and demand forecasts

Monitor open orders lead times and potential supply risks

Manage relationships with domestic and international suppliers

Track supplier performance and implement corrective actions when needed

Partner with production planning to ensure materials are available on time

Coordinate closely with warehouse teams to maintain efficient material flow

Establish and enforce procurement procedures and internal controls

Develop reporting tools and dashboards for procurement performance

Lead and develop purchasing staff while maintaining accountability standards

Qualifications:

Experience in procurement purchasing or supply chain management

Background in manufacturing or production environments preferred

Strong organizational and problem solving skills

Experience managing supplier relationships and procurement processes

Ability to work cross functionally with production warehouse and operations teams

Leadership experience managing purchasing or procurement staff preferred
