Associate Account Manager Surety Bonds

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Account Manager Surety Bonds to join a team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your career in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Compensation Package

  • Base Salary Range: $53000 to $80000

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and grow the bond business in alignment with management objectives and procedures.
  • Develop and sustain positive relationships with clients underwriters and team members.
  • Utilize available resources to gather and maintain underwriting information.
  • Ensure timely processing of requests through an effective follow-up system.
  • Communicate account updates regularly with the sales team.
  • Assist with premium collections as needed.
  • Provide backup support for other staff members when required.
  • Handle bond requests exercise underwriting authority judiciously and provide timely approvals or requests for additional information.
  • Prepare and file bond paperwork as requested by clients.
  • Support client service for assigned house accounts including underwriting information and rider requests.
  • Identify and refer new business opportunities to management.
  • Participate in projects and tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Education: Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Licensing: P&C Producer License in domicile state.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to explain and provide products promptly and accurately.
    • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities with a problem-solving mindset.
    • Proficiency in written and oral communication with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
    • Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate digital files and paperwork.
    • Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Windows Outlook Word Excel) and a strong aptitude for learning proprietary software.
    • Comfort working with numbers and percentages.
  • Work Environment: Ability to function effectively in both office and remote settings.
