Job Summary

Compensation Package
- Base Salary Range: $53000 to $80000

Responsibilities
- Maintain and grow the bond business in alignment with management objectives and procedures.
- Develop and sustain positive relationships with clients underwriters and team members.
- Utilize available resources to gather and maintain underwriting information.
- Ensure timely processing of requests through an effective follow-up system.
- Communicate account updates regularly with the sales team.
- Assist with premium collections as needed.
- Provide backup support for other staff members when required.
- Handle bond requests exercise underwriting authority judiciously and provide timely approvals or requests for additional information.
- Prepare and file bond paperwork as requested by clients.
- Support client service for assigned house accounts including underwriting information and rider requests.
- Identify and refer new business opportunities to management.
- Participate in projects and tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Education: Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Licensing: P&C Producer License in domicile state.
- Skills:
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to explain and provide products promptly and accurately.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities with a problem-solving mindset.
- Proficiency in written and oral communication with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate digital files and paperwork.
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Windows Outlook Word Excel) and a strong aptitude for learning proprietary software.
- Comfort working with numbers and percentages.
- Work Environment: Ability to function effectively in both office and remote settings.
