Job Summary

Responsibilities & Qualifications

We are seeking a Cybersecurity SME - Lead.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

  • Seven years IT experience.

  • Five Years Information Assurance experience.

  • Demonstrated experience working independently with strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Extensive hands-on experience applying advanced technical concepts and methodologies to mission-critical work.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for resolving security issues.

  • Hands-on experience performing cybersecurity evaluations risk analysis and compliance assessments.

  • Strong knowledge of RMF.

  • Knowledge and understanding of Department of Defense security regulations DISA STIGs.

  • Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies customers or contracts within federal environments. This includes the Intelligence Community (IC) Department of Defense (DoD) Federal Civil agencies and military organizations. Prior experience supporting the same or similar contract with an in-depth understanding of the customer environment requirements and operational landscape is highly desirable.

Certifications

  • DoD 8570 IAM Level III Baseline Certification

    • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

    • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

    • GIAC Security Leadership Certification (GSLC)

    • Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO)

Clearance

  • Secret- IT-II

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide expert support research and analysis of exceptionally complex problems and processes relating to them.

  • Serve as technical expert to the Cybersecurity Assessment Program providing technical direction interpretation and alternatives to complex problems.

  • Contributes to the development of new principles concepts and methodologies.

  • Works on unusually complex technical problems and provides highly innovative and ingenious solutions.

  • Recommend cybersecurity software tools and assist in the development of software tool requirements and selection criteria to include the development of product specific STIGs from applicable DISA SRGs.

  • Work under consultative direction toward predetermined long-range goals and objectives. Assignments are often self-initiated.

  • Determine and pursue courses of action necessary to obtain desired results.

  • Develops advanced technological ideas and guides their development into a final product.
