Responsibilities
- Patrol campgrounds buildings and activity areas during overnight hours
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for campers staff and property
- Monitor access points and ensure facility security throughout the night
- Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm and professional manner
- Complete routine patrols and document activity and incidents
- Enforce camp safety rules and procedures as needed
- Provide assistance to staff during overnight operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous security experience is a plus but not required
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Ability to remain alert professional and dependable during overnight hours
- Comfortable working independently in an outdoor camp environment
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to obtain required clearances including:
- FBI Fingerprint Clearance
- Child Abuse Clearance
- PATCH Criminal Background Check
Position Details
- Seasonal summer employment from June 20th through August 16th
- Part-time weekend overnight schedule: Saturday & Sunday 11:00 PM 7:00 AM
- Competitive pay at $18.50/hour
