Job Summary
Overview:
Daytime Hours - Full Time Benefits Eligible
Conducts the new hire training academy for all Protective Services employees. which includes topics such as the PROTECT Program Use of Force Defensive Tactics Interacting with Law Enforcement Metal Detector Operations and Weapons Screening and various internal code response.
Supports the various departments and clinics within the organization on trainings for workplace violence prevention intervention and recovery.
Coordinates with Protective Services Supervisors to ensure documentation and required trainings are up to date for all Protective Services personnel and organization staff.

Essential Functions:
- Responds to and provides assistance in emergency situations and internal disaster incidents.
- Coordinates with other department staff and public safety officials in area of specialty to ensure compliance with safety and security regulations.
- Responds safely effectively and efficiently (SEE) to all related matters that come to their attention and in the performance of activities as assigned.
Education Requirement:
- High school diploma required.
- Associate or bachelors degree preferred.
Licensure Requirement:
Valid Ohio drivers license and proof of auto insurance as required by hospital policy and position-specific requirements. Must pass motor vehicle background inspection insurance eligibility driving qualifications and training set forth by Nationwide Childrens Hospital and maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.
Experience:
- 6 months customer service experience.
- Parking knowledge preferred.
