Job Summary
About the Role:
The Spot Welder is responsible for performing resistance spot welding operations to assemble metal components in a production environment. This role focuses on accuracy consistency and meeting quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform spot welding operations on metal parts and assemblies
- Set up and adjust welding equipment for production runs
- Inspect welded components for quality and defects
- Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
- Maintain equipment and ensure safe operation
- Meet production quotas and quality standards
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in spot welding or manufacturing
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of welding safety and procedures
- Strong attention to detail
Desired Qualifications:
- Welding certification
- Experience in automotive or metal fabrication
- Familiarity with quality inspection tools
