Job Overview
We are seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join an outpatient care team in Hobbs New Mexico. This role is responsible for evaluating patients creating treatment plans providing therapy services and helping patients improve mobility function and quality of life.
This is a great opportunity for a PT who is comfortable working independently while still collaborating with a patient-focused healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide skilled physical therapy treatment and therapeutic techniques.
- Educate patients and families on exercises recovery plans and continued care.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Communicate with physicians care teams patients and families.
- Document evaluations treatments progress and outcomes accurately.
- Support patient independence mobility and functional improvement.
Qualifications
Required:
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
- Active New Mexico Physical Therapist License upon hire.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association upon hire.
- Strong communication documentation and patient care skills.
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision when needed.
Preferred:
- 2 years of rehabilitation experience.
