About the job:
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
Pay: $18.61-$20.29
The Clinic Secretary primary purpose is to facilitate the maintenance of the participants/residents medical record transcribes orders set up appointments and transportation demonstrating exceptional customer service skills. Prioritizes organizes and coordinates activities to facilitate smooth efficient operations. Manages and performs clerical and non-nursing administrative tasks for the department. Serves as the receptionist/communicator for the department. Manage inventory and ordering of supplies and equipment for the department.
Required Qualifications:To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - High School graduate
- Ability to utilize computers and other electronic devices for tasks such as timekeeping in-servicing and documentation.
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing managing files and records stenography and transcription designing forms and other office procedures and terminology.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- Medical Assistant or CNA certification preferred.
Essentials:
- Schedule and confirm patient diagnostic appointments surgeries and medical consultations.
- Will call to remind participants to fast in order to catch them prior to meals.
- Compile and record medical charts reports and correspondence using typewriter or personal computer. 3 2025 5
- Answer telephone calls and direct calls to appropriate staff.
- Receive and route messages and documents such as laboratory results to appropriate staff.
