Job Summary
Join East End Home Care as a dedicated Home Health Aide providing compassionate support to clients in Southold this role you will assist individuals with daily living activities ensuring their comfort and well-being in their own homes. This position offers $25.00 per hour paid weekly with immediate cases available.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing dressing grooming and toileting.
- Support clients with mobility and transfers safely and respectfully.
- Help with light housekeeping meal preparation and medication reminders.
- Monitor clients health conditions and report any changes to supervisory staff.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients throughout the day.
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and communicate effectively with the care team.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or in a related caregiving role preferred.
- Must have a home health aide certificate and have been registered with a home health agency within the last 2 years to qualify.
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans accurately.
- Compassionate patient and attentive to client needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation preferred.
- Must pass background checks and any required health screenings.
