Job Summary
Your role at St John of God Berwick Hospital
We are seeking an experienced administrative staff member to work in our outpatient rehabilitation setting for 4 days per week (0.8 FTE) with fulltime hours considered for the right applicant.
This is a patientfacing role involving direct interaction with patients attending outpatient rehabilitation in addition to a range of general administrative duties.
The Position:
Facilitating efficient admission and discharge services to patients.
Ensure timely and accurate scheduling of Outpatient appointments rescheduling and attendance.
Adherence to appropriate health fund billing processes.
Collect payment for any excess co-payment out of pockets and exclusions owed through accurate billing of patients on discharge.
Facilitating a high level of customer satisfaction.
Accurate and thorough completion and signing of all relevant documentation.
Accurate data entry of patient admission details.
Reception duties including welcoming visitors answering phone calls replying to or redirecting queries as appropriate and providing assistance as required.
Ensure Outpatient sign in procedures are completed.
You will have a recent experience within a clerical administration reception and/or switchboard environment and excellent customer service skills.
To succeed you will have to demonstrate time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and strong computer skills and experience in using patient booking systems specifically WebPas and Genie and Microsoft Office packages.

We will offer you
Salary: $60173 to $61903 per annum (pro rata if part time) plus 12% superannuation.
Permanent part time position available
