1. JOB PURPOSE
- Improve assembly processes to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Follow up and deploy new model projects (NPI) for the production line ensuring a smooth transition from Mass Trial (MT) to Mass Production (MP).
- Establish and control work standards and monitor cycle time to ensure production consistency and progress.
2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design & Implementation:
- Develop layout and process concepts for Assembly Welding and other stages.
- Design concepts for jigs tools and machines based on line requirements collaborating with suppliers and internal teams.
- Manage the process of setting up new production lines and launching new products.
- Process Management & Standardization:
- Develop issue and maintain Work Instructions (WI) Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Standard Work for all manufacturing processes.
- Calculate the production capacity of lines and processes.
- Conduct time studies measuring Takt time and Cycle time to identify bottlenecks.
- Improvement & Quality Assurance:
- Perform Kaizen on cycle times to optimize productivity.
- Lead new model preparation through field investigations PFMEA and Process Flow development.
- Research and implement new technologies to improve or replace outdated process concepts.
- Cooperate with all departments to improve Quality and Safety standards providing guidelines check sheets and technical parameters for production.
3. JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Graduated from College or University in related engineering majors.
- More than 3 years of experience in Production Engineering (PE) or Industrial Engineering. Strong in analyzing manufacturing processes and waste reduction.
- Good at English.
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems and data analysis.
- Proficiency in 2D/3D design software (Autocad solidworks...)
- Knowledge of PLC programming or the electrical field is a significant plus.
