Discover Impactful Work:
Youll represent our portfolio of scientific instruments and solutions working closely with customers to understand their needs and deliver effective solutions that enable them to make the world healthier cleaner and safer. As a technical advisor youll develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts while providing technical expertise across the sales cycle. Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales marketing and technical support to implement sales strategies and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Keys to Success:

Education and Experience

  • Bachelors Degree plus 5 years of technical sales experience in relevant scientific instrumentation laboratory products or the life sciences industry. Preferred Fields of Study: Biology Chemistry Biochemistry Engineering or related discipline.
  • Deep technical knowledge of assigned product portfolio and applications which include drug discovery drug metabolism ADME/Toxicology cancer organoids and gene editing among other products.
  • Strong understanding of laboratory workflows and customer requirements.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts.
  • Experience using CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning capabilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a matrix environment.
  • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills.
  • Travel requirements up to 75% within the assigned territory.
  • Valid drivers license and ability to lift/move equipment as needed.
  • Proficiency in English required additional languages valued for international roles.
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and competitive landscape.
  • Experience delivering technical demonstrations and training.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in Michigan is $75700.00$100900.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company team and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on which includes:
