2026 ESY TES Teacher

Position: Special Education Teacher or Regular Education Teacher to teach special education student from Tonopah Elementary School (1 position)

Funding Source: Special Education

Qualifications:Valid Nevada teachers license or substitute license
Ability to work with students with mild to severe disabilities
Ability to collect data and track progress
CPR and First Aid qualified preferred
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Assist with toileting needs as necessary

Salary Range: $41.70 per hour

Job Description: Implement student goals/objectives as stated on the IEP in order to help students maintain mastered skills throughout the extended summer break.

Teacher gets 6 total hours prep
(1) student is to receive a total of 48 ESY hours during the month of June ï½ Teacher to set the schedule with guardian

Location: Tonopah Elementary School

Preference will be given to those applicants who are currently employed as special education teachers by Nye County School District. Preference given those applicants who are CPI Trained.
