This favorable national civil contractor is a leading Tier 2 contractor with a focus predominantly on structures across Main Roads projects. Led by a team of highly skilled professionals within the industry this contactor is experienced across multiple disciplines including roads earthworks drainage and concrete structures with a number of major TMR projects valued anywhere between $50M - $400M across QLD.
Due to a successful pipeline of work they are currently looking to secure an experienced Structures Site Engineer with a strong focus across TMR or similar projects delivering a key project giving back to this local rural community based in Far North QLD. Following TMR standards scope of works includes bridge / structural and additional civil be successful you must have a minimum of 3 years civil construction experience ideally across structures on main roads projects for a contractor in similar conditions.
Reporting to the Project Engineer your responsibilities will include:
- Procurement of key subcontractors and suppliers
- Programming and daily planning
- Quality Assurance management
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients subcontractors and stakeholders
- Preparing financial reports and completing forecasts
- Ensuring Safety and Environmental standards are met
To be successful you must have a proven track record of delivering structural bridge packages in line with DTMR specifications and quality standards with a civil contractor in similar conditions. The successful individual must have at least 2 years main roads / TMR local council or other state main roads experience.
