Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Chef de Partie to join a busy catering team on a temporary week-to-week basis in Crumlin Dublin 12. This role is ideal for a chef who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment takes pride in producing high-quality food and can contribute consistently to hot kitchen preparation and service support.
As part of the kitchen team you will play an important role in maintaining smooth day-to-day operations supporting food preparation and ensuring standards of quality hygiene and efficiency are met at all times. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is dependable organised and comfortable working under pressure.
Day-to-day responsibilities
- Prepare and assist with hot kitchen production for catering and service requirements.
- Support the kitchen team with essential prep work including ingredient preparation portioning and basic cooking tasks.
- Maintain high standards of food quality presentation and consistency.
- Work efficiently to meet service deadlines in a busy high-volume kitchen.
- Follow all food safety hygiene and HACCP procedures.
- Keep workstations clean organised and fully stocked throughout the shift.
- Assist senior chefs and kitchen leadership as required to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Monitor ingredients and report shortages or quality concerns promptly.
