The Fresno Metropolitan Flood Control District is on the lookout for a friendly dedicated professional to join our team as a Full-Time Park Attendant. If you have a passion for people and the outdoors a knack for detail and you are a strong communicator wed love to hear from you!

About the Role:

Youll play a crucial part in maintaining two of the Districts parks. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Customer Service: Greet and interact with park patrons
• Safety: Enforce park rules
• Reservation Preparation: Prepare pavilion areas for reservations
• Maintenance and Cleaning: Regularly inspect maintain repair and clean park facilities and grounds
• Independence: Problem solve on the fly
• Teamwork: Collaborate with Facilities Technicians and Park staff to complete tasks
• Adaptability: Rain or shine youll be out there so embrace all seasons and be open to shifting priorities. Our parks are busiest on weekends and holidays. Its important you are able to work these shifts.

What Were Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One year of related work experience involving contact with the public and general maintenance
• Must be able to pass a background check and Live Scan (criminal background check) conducted by the District as a condition of employment
