What Youll Do

As a Security Systems Technician youll install service troubleshoot and maintain a variety of low-voltage security systems including:

• Security & Burglar Alarm Systems
• Fire Alarm Systems
• CCTV & Video Surveillance Systems
• Access Control Systems
• Panic Hold-Up & Wandering Alarm Systems

Additional responsibilities include

• Installing programming testing and servicing systems
• Troubleshooting wiring and system issues
• Reading diagrams schematics and blueprints
• Ensuring installations meet codes and standards
• Communicating with customers contractors and team members
• Participating in a rotating on-call schedule
• Occasional overnight travel during weekday projects

• Valid Drivers License & Clean Driving Record

• Must Be Drug Free
• No Felonies or Serious Misdemeanors

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 Year Field Experience
• NICET Certifications
• Minnesota PLT License
• Networking / IT Experience
• Experience With Low Voltage Alarm CCTV Or Access Control Systems
