The Boeing CompanyFinance Shared Services (FSS) is currently seeking a Contract Closeout Specialist (Experienced or Senior) to join the team in Hazelwood MO.
This position will provide contract closeout administration for proprietary programs in the Saint Louis area. It is an excellent opportunity for a high performer who is looking to gain valuable experience supporting a variety of programs and customers.
Position Responsibilities:
- Exercises appropriate signature authority
- Proposes and negotiates agreements utilizing approved contract terms and conditions
- Researches drafts and makes recommendations on proposal and contractual language supporting the product or service delivery processes and conducts document reviews
- Develops documents and executes complex business plans through the analysis of contractual data
- Performs due diligence and integration of newly acquired entities to ensure implementation of contracting policies and practices
- Supports auditor requests and provides interpretation of findings identifies data for audit activities and identifies issues develops corrective actions and implements solutions
- Assesses process risks and control adequacy
- Maintains business processes and data integrity
- Supports development and documents guidance related to new and updated contractual regulatory requirements and command media
- Monitors/reconciles and ensures compliance in the performance of contractual and business commitments company policies laws and regulations
- Coordinates special requests for approval and exception interprets contractual letters provides contract performance status and performs contract closeout activities
- Coordinates and partners with other internal functional disciplines
- Supports contracts administration
BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3 years of experience with government contracts
- 3 years of experience working with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook PowerPoint Excel and Word
- 3 years of experience working with acquisition policies e.g. United States Government (USG) Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (FAR/DFARS)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelors Degree or higher
- 5 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3 years of experience using analytical collaboration communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and with a cross-functional team
- Experience utilizing strong critical thinking problem solving negotiation communication and interpersonal skills
