Xylem is hiring a Rental Sales Representative to represent our legacy Godwin brand. The Sales Repis responsible for driving rental growth forGodwin pumps bypass systems and related dewatering solutionswithin the Minnesota territory. This role focuses on developing and executing sales strategies that expand the customer base increase rental revenue and strengthen long-term customer relationships across municipal industrial construction and emergency response markets.

Sales
Develop and maintain relationships with customers
Promote and sell rental products and services
Identify and pursue new business opportunities
Meet and exceed sales targets
Provide excellent customer service
Customer Service
Assist customers with inquiries and concerns
Handle customer complaints and find satisfactory resolutions
Ensure customer satisfaction with rental experience
Inventory Management
Maintain accurate inventory records
Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies
Place orders for new rental products as needed
Monitor and track rental equipment movement
Contract Management
Create and manage rental contracts
Ensure all contracts are accurate and complete
Collect necessary payments and deposits
Handle contract extensions modifications and terminations
Administrative Tasks
Process rental reservations and payments
Maintain and update customer and rental records
Generate reports on rental activity and sales performance
Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
Safety and Maintenance
Ensure rental products are in safe and working condition
Conduct regular maintenance checks and schedule repairs as needed
Provide safety instructions and guidelines to customers
Maintain a clean and organized rental area

Qualifications:
A bachelors degree in degree in business economics finance or a related field with at least 2 years experience or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories principles and concepts. Experience with rental equipment sales preferred.
Proven experience in business development or a similar analytical role.
Strong proficiency in CRM and business management software such as Salesforce and ProWorkflow.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
A track record of identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities.

The estimated salary range for this position is $70000to $85000 plus quarterly pay is dependent on multiple factors such as skills experience and work location and is not typically at the top of the Xylem we offer a competitive compensation package with a generous benefit package including Medical Dental Vision plans 401(k) with company contribution paid time off paid parental leave and tuition reimbursement.
