Job Summary

The Site Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations supervision and performance of contract personnel supporting administrative services for a federal government agency. This role ensures services are delivered in accordance with contract requirements quality standards and established operating procedures. The Site Supervisor serves as the primary on-site point of contact partnering closely with contract leadership and federal stakeholders to resolve issues maintain continuity of service and drive process improvement.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations across assigned service areas (e.g. mail services copy center supply management administrative support).
  • Ensure all tasks are performed in accordance with contract requirements established quality standards and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Supervise train and manage assigned personnel; provide day-to-day direction and performance feedback.
  • Develop schedules and staffing plans to ensure adequate staffing and coverage to meet service level requirements.
  • Prepare and submit required reports (e.g. staffing operational inventory and quality/performance reports) accurately and on time.
  • Identify recommend and implement opportunities to improve processes efficiency and service delivery.
  • Escalate operational issues risks and customer concerns promptly to federal and contract management; track actions through resolution.
Requirements

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.


Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management and/or site operations management. Experience must include:

  • Mail services: Skill and experience demonstrating compliance with United States Postal Service mail practices and use of various express mail services.
  • Experience supporting copy center operations.
  • Inventory management: Experience with inventory control practices.
  • Copy Center: Skill and experience in support and operations of Mail Center and Copy Center equipment including high volume computerized Multi-Functional Devices (MFDs) and scanners.
  • Leadership: Experience supervising staff creating schedules and ensuring coverage to meet operational requirements.
  • Availability: Occasional evening/weekend support as needed.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Work is performed in an office environment within federal facilities.
  • Requires standing and walking throughout the workday.
  • Must be able to lift and move items up to 70 pounds.
  • Schedule adjustments may be required based on operational needs.
