THE DAY PRIOR TO THE END DATE LISTED ON THIS JOB POSTING***The North Carolina Department of Revenue is recruiting for a Senior Administrative Assistant in our Financial Services Division. This position reports directly to the Departments Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The primary purpose of the position is to maximize the CFOs efficiency and productivity by managing daily operations filtering communications and handling sensitive information. This position acts as a strategic liaison ensuring smooth workflows prioritizing urgent tasks and providing high-level administrative support. The performance of administrative duties involves decision-making and judgment. This position is responsible for maintaining high standards of professionalism efficiency personal communication discretion confidentiality and independent judgment. The position also supports the efficient operation of the administrative functions of the Financial Services management team and division. Position works with internal and external stakeholders and deals with a wide range of sensitive issues under tight deadlines and pressures. The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional organizational skills attention to detail discretion with sensitive information and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

- Ability to apply knowledge of data collection storage organization manipulation and/or analysis of data and to compile assimilate and organize both printed and electronic information
- Ability to utilize office equipment and other relevant technology (software and systems) to meet organizational needs
- Ability to clearly present and convey information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups
- Ability to identify and understand issues problems and opportunities and use effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions
- Ability to use correct grammar organization and structure
Recruitment Range: $48933- $64386

Minimum Education and Experience
