About the role
We are seeking an Endpoint Security Process Consultant to design document and operationalise the business and technical processes required to run endpoint security DLP and vulnerability management capabilities effectively.
This role bridges security delivery operations governance and service management ensuring that endpoint security controls are supported by clear processes accountabilities workflow integration reporting and handover artefacts.
What youll be responsible for
- Define and document endpoint security operating processes across endpoint protection DLP and vulnerability management capabilities.
- Develop process flows RACI models runbooks work instructions exception processes and operational handover material.
- Design workflows for vulnerability identification prioritisation remediation assignment tracking escalation and closure.
- Support DLP operating model design including alert triage incident referral policy exception handling evidence capture and reporting.
- Work with technical engineers to translate Trellix and Tenable platform capabilities into repeatable operational processes.
- Support integration of endpoint security processes with ITSM change management incident management problem management and reporting forums.
- Facilitate workshops with security infrastructure operations governance and application teams to agree process ownership and handoffs.
- Identify process gaps control weaknesses operational risks and improvement opportunities.
- Support readiness assessments transition-to-operations planning and hyper care activities.
- Maintain process documentation and support training or knowledge transfer for operational teams.
What were looking for
- Approximately 5 years experience in security operations cyber process design IT service management vulnerability management endpoint security or technology delivery roles.
- Strong understanding of endpoint security operations DLP workflows and vulnerability management lifecycle processes.
- Experience documenting operational processes runbooks RACIs workflow diagrams service models or transition artefacts.
- Familiarity with Trellix Tenable ITSM tooling and enterprise security operations practices desirable.
- Ability to work with both technical teams and business stakeholders to define practical supportable processes.
- Strong communication facilitation structured analysis and documentation skills.
- Experience in regulated or security-sensitive delivery environments desirable.
Security Clearance
- Current Australian Government security clearance (Baseline NV1 or higher) or
- Eligibility and willingness to undergo security clearance.
Must be willing to work onsite 5 days a week
