A wellestablished civil and mechanical engineering construction company delivering turnkey infrastructure projects across water wastewater pumping stations and renewable energy is seeking an experienced Project Engineering Manager to lead complex multidisciplinary projects across South Africa and selected regional sites.
The role requires a technically strong leader with proven experience managing largescale engineering and construction projects from design through to commissioning.

A wellestablished civil and mechanical engineering construction company delivering turnkey infrastructure projects across water wastewater pumping stations and renewable energy is seeking an experienced Project Engineering Manager to lead complex multidisciplinary projects across South Africa and selected regional sites.
The role requires a technically strong leader with proven experience managing largescale engineering and construction projects from design through to commissioning.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Manage endtoend engineering projects including planning execution commissioning and closeout
- Lead multidisciplinary teams across civil mechanical and electrical engineering disciplines
- Oversee project schedules budgets resources and subcontractors
- Act as the primary technical interface with clients consulting engineers and internal stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with design specifications engineering standards quality requirements and HSE regulations
- Drive risk management change control and project reporting
- Support procurement construction methodologies and commissioning activities
- Ensure projects are delivered within agreed cost quality and time constraints
Minimum Requirements
- BEng Mechanical Engineering BEng Electrical Engineering or BSc Engineering (minimum requirement)
- At least 5 years experience in a project management or project engineering role
- Proven experience managing civil and mechanical construction or infrastructure projects
- Strong working knowledge of construction methodologies site execution and commissioning
- Excellent leadership planning and stakeholder management skills
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required
Advantageous Experience
- Water and wastewater treatment works
- Pumping stations and pipeline infrastructure
- Hydropower or renewable energy projects
- Turnkey EPC / EPCM project execution
