General Manager (Bakery & Retail)

We are representing a premier name in the food and beverage industry to recruit an experienced and dynamic General Manager (Bakery & Retail). The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader responsible for overseeing all aspects of a high-end bakery and retail operation. Responsibilities

Lead all day-to-day operations of the bakery and retail outlet ensuring seamless execution and adherence to brand standards.
Assume full P&L responsibility including budgeting forecasting and financial reporting to drive revenue and manage costs effectively.
Recruit train mentor and manage a high-performing team including bakers baristas and retail staff fostering a positive and productive work culture.
Uphold the highest standards of product quality presentation and consistency from production to point of sale.
Implement and maintain rigorous health safety and hygiene standards in compliance with local regulations.
Develop and execute local marketing and sales strategies to increase footfall build customer loyalty and enhance brand presence.
Manage inventory procurement and supplier relationships to ensure optimal stock levels and cost-efficiency.
Oversee visual merchandising and the overall retail environment to create an inviting and premium customer experience.
Analyse sales data and customer feedback to identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a General Manager or senior management role within the premium bakery café or food retail industry.
Strong financial acumen with demonstrable experience in P&L management budgeting and cost control.
Exceptional leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and develop a diverse team.
A deep understanding of food and beverage operations quality control and industry best practices.
A customer-centric approach with a passion for delivering an outstanding service experience.
Excellent organisational problem-solving and communication skills.
Previous experience working in the Middle East is highly advantageous.
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a significant plus.
