Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Manufacturing Associate to support production operations in a regulated manufacturing environment. This role involves performing basic operational tasks under supervision maintaining a clean and safe workspace and adhering strictly to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong work ethic teamwork and a willingness to learn and support production goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform basic job functions under the supervision of a qualified operator
- Operate within assigned work areas and assist in routine production activities
- Clean maintain and organize tools equipment and workspaces
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions accurately
- Perform basic machine adjustments as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory requirements
- Demonstrate basic math communication and problem-solving skills
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Support team goals and assist peers when needed
- Adhere to Environmental Health Safety and Sustainability (EHS&S) policies
- Manage time effectively to meet production targets and deadlines
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 6 months of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor machine adjustments
- Experience working in a regulated environment (cGMP SOPs audits etc.)
- Basic computer skills (MS Word email internet use)
- Strong communication skills (reading writing and teamwork)
- Dependable proactive and team-oriented with a positive attitude
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP systems
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Key Working Relationships
- Internal: Maintenance Engineering Quality Teams
- External: Suppliers and Vendors
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Manufacturing laboratory or warehouse setting
- Exposure to potentially hazardous materials including chemicals and biological substances
- Ability to stand walk or sit for extended periods (up to 75% of the time)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexibility to work extended or non-standard hours based on production needs
