Job description :
We are seeking an experienced Camera Image Quality Tuning Engineer to optimize and deliver superior image quality across our echo device portfolio. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Qualcomm or MediaTek platforms and a proven track record in camera tuning.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform end-to-end camera tuning on Qualcomm/MediaTek platforms
Optimize image quality parameters for various lighting conditions and use cases
Configure and optimize image processing parameters (sharpening noise reduction color reproduction)
Create and maintain tuning documentation
Work with validation teams to verify image quality improvements
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Science or related field
3 years of hands-on experience in mobile camera tuning
Proven experience with either Qualcomm Snapdragon platforms and camera tuning tools or MediaTek platforms and camera tuning tools
Experience with objective and subjective image quality evaluation
Proficiency in camera testing under various lighting conditions
Familiarity with image quality metrics and testing methodologies
Preferred Skills:
Experience with multiple OEM camera tuning projects
Understanding of computational photography
Technical Requirements:
Expertise in using camera tuning tools (Qualcomm/MediaTek)
Understanding of RAW image processing
Knowledge of common image quality issues and solutions
Experience with lab equipment for camera testing
