Job Title: Instructional Designer - Hybrid

Job Description:
As an Instructional Designer you will design and develop engaging accessible and effective learning programs aligned with organizational goals and user needs. You will collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to create high quality instructional content leveraging modern learning methodologies and tools to deliver impactful training experiences across multiple delivery formats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct training needs assessments and audience analysis to identify learning gaps and objectives.
- Design develop and maintain instructional materials including course outlines storyboards job aids and training content.
- Create engaging eLearning instructor-led training microlearning modules videos and webinars.
- Develop SCORM-compliant courses using industry-standard authoring tools.
- Design and administer assessments to measure learner progress and program effectiveness.
- Analyze training data to improve content quality and learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to ensure content accuracy and alignment with business goals.
- Track project timelines milestones and deliverables while providing status updates.
- Maintain and update existing curriculum to ensure relevance and compliance.
Required Skills Experiences Education and Competencies:
- 3 5 years of experience in instructional design training or a related field.
- Strong expertise in eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline Adobe Captivate or Camtasia.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Word PowerPoint and Excel.
- Knowledge of instructional design methodologies such as ADDIE and adult learning principles.
- Experience creating SCORM-compliant content and working with Learning Management Systems.
- Understanding of accessibility standards including 508 compliance.
- Strong skills in developing assessments and evaluating training effectiveness.
- Excellent written verbal and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage projects timelines and multiple deliverables in a hybrid environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with LMS platforms such as Workday Learning.
- Familiarity with multimedia design tools and content creation.
- Knowledge of gamification techniques for learner engagement.
- Experience supporting large-scale system or training implementations.
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $60.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills experience location and industry.
