Job Summary
East End Home Care is seeking a compassionate and certified Home Health Aide to provide dedicated care for an elderly female patient in Southampton Long Island conveniently located near the college. This part-time position requires availability for 2 days per week with 4-hour shifts. The preferred shift start time is around 12:00 PM offering flexibility to accommodate your schedule.
Responsibilities
- Assist the patient with personal care and daily living activities.
- Provide support with mobility as the patient currently uses a wheelchair.
- Ensure the patients comfort and safety during each shift.
- Communicate effectively with the care team and family members as needed.
Requirements
- Must be a certified Home Health Aide (HHA) with New York State certification.
- Experience working with a Home Health Aide agency within the last two years is required.
- Ability to provide compassionate and reliable care to an elderly patient.
- Willingness to work flexible hours preferably starting at noon.
