The Boeing CompanyBoeing Global Services is looking for a BGS Government Supply Chain Director to join the team in Hazelwood MO.
Position Responsibilities:
Drive operational excellence across the BGS-G Air Force and Navy platforms to deliver world class performance while supporting BGS growth
Ensure purchased products are delivered on time per customer requirement
Establish supply chain platform strategies to support BGS-G customer needs and business growth objectives
Establish and maintain relationships with senior leaders of key suppliers and major customers including the US Air Force and US Navy to enable a continued partnership and future growth.
Ensure flawless execution of the contracting work work placement and driving lean efficient supply chain
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Minimum 3 years of experience working as a senior leader or senior manager
Minimum 3 years experience with general supply chain and/or program management and/or general Business Operations & Strategy
Minimum 3 years of experience working with multiple internal stakeholders and suppliers
Experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives
Demonstrated critical-business and financial acumen in order to influence and shape strategy
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher (or foreign equivalent)
Experience with Government Contract or Procurement
10 years of experience in supply chain for a global organization
Experience establishing and tracking key performance indicators
Experience crafting and driving a strategic vision
Understanding of Lean continuous/process improvement methodology
Experience leading culture and organizational transformation
Experience with program management procurement supplier relationship/recovery and negotiation expertise
A strong natural leadership style that moves people to act motivates and inspires excellence and innovation
Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding targets goals and strong skills in program execution to schedule and budget.
Proactively and quickly makes sense of complex issues; responds effectively to complex and ambiguous situations; communicates complicated information simply
Gains others trust by demonstrating openness and honesty behaving consistently and acting in accordance with moral ethical professional and organizational guidelines
