Senior Backend / Fullstack Engineer Newbridge Fintech
Location: Pune India
We are building enterprise-grade B2B SaaS for the financial services industry. We arent just looking for coders; we are looking for senior engineers who genuinely enjoy the complexity of distributed systems the elegance of clean microservices and the craft of shipping software that global businesses depend on.
In this role you will design and own event-driven microservices that power real-world financial workflows. You will be a key driver in an AI-native engineering culture leveraging Claude Code coding agents and LLM-assisted workflows to push the boundaries of productivity and software quality.
The Tech Stack
- Backend: Java 25 Spring Boot 4.0
- Frontend: TypeScript React
- Data and amp; Messaging: PostgreSQL Redis Kafka RabbitMQ
- Infra: AWS Kubernetes (K8s)
What Youll Do
- Design and amp; Architecture: Build and scale resilient event-driven microservices capable of handling complex financial transactions.
- Fullstack Ownership: While backend-heavy youll dive into the frontend (React/) when necessary to ensure a seamless end-to-end product experience.
- AI-Driven Development: Integrate modern AI-native tools (Claude Code agents) into the SDLC to accelerate shipping without compromising on security or clean code.
- Financial Domain Leadership: Navigate the nuances of BFSI requirementsfrom payments and lending to KYC/AML workflows.
What Were Looking For
- Experience: 6 years of shipping production-grade backend or fullstack systems at meaningful scale.
- Systems Thinking: Strong fundamentals in System Design and Distributed Systems. You understand why and when to use Kafka vs. RabbitMQ.
- Technical Depth: Hands-on expertise with PostgreSQL AWS and Kubernetes is a non-negotiable.
- AI Fluency: You are already using LLMs and coding agents to augment your engineering workflow.
- Domain Expertise: A background in Banking Fintech or BFSI is strongly preferred. You should have a working awareness of compliance frameworks like PCI DSS SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
