Job Type:Full-time 2nd Shift (M-Th 4:00pm-2:30am)

Position Overview:

The Amada Press Brake Operator is responsible for setting up programming and operating Amada press brake machines to bend and form sheet metal components according to blueprints and specifications with a dimensional tolerance of 0.010 inches. This role requires precision mechanical aptitude and a commitment to maintaining quality and safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operateAmada press brake machines (RG HRB & HG)to produce metal parts according to engineering drawings and job specifications.
• Interpret blueprints shop drawings and work orders to determine machine setup and production requirements.
• Select install and align appropriate tooling dies and fixtures for each job.
• Performfirst-piece inspectionsand ensure all parts meet dimensional and visual quality standards.
• Adjust machine settings and offsets as needed to maintain consistent quality and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate production records including setup times quantities and inspection results.
• Monitor machine operation and report malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor or maintenance department.
• Handle material safely and maintain a clean organized work area.
• Follow allsafety protocolsand participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be a U.S. Personas defined byInternational Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
• 2 yearsof experience operating anAmada press brake(required).
• Ability to read and interpretblueprints GD&T and setup sheets.
• Experience withAmada CNC controls (e.g. HG HRB RG or newer systems)a strong plus.
• Strong understanding of metal types thicknesses and bend allowances.
• Basic math and measurement skills using calipers micrometers and height gauges.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a production environment.
• Willingness to work1st or 2ndshiftand occasional overtime as required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to75 lbsand stand for extended periods.
• Frequent bending reaching and manual handling of sheet metal materials.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
