Job Summary

Im currently supporting a well-established director-led consultancy in appointing a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing North West team.


Theyre part of a global engineering and technical consultancy but the regional team offers a more personal and collaborative environment with direct access to senior leadership and clear opportunities for progression.

Project Exposure

Youll be involved in a range of technically complex and high-value schemes including:

  • Nuclear infrastructure projects (Warrington & Cheshire) supporting major frameworks within highly regulated environments
  • Marine and waterfront development (Holyhead) redevelopment of a key UK port including marine works and infrastructure upgrades


These projects are led at director level meaning youll gain valuable insight and mentorship while working on significant long-term programmes.


The Role

Youll support the commercial management of projects from early-stage feasibility through to final account including:

  • Cost planning estimating and procurement
  • Contract administration (NEC3/NEC4)
  • Change control valuations and final accounts
  • Client and stakeholder engagement
  • Supporting project teams to maintain cost and programme objectives


About you

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
  • 5 years QS experience within infrastructure / engineering / major projects
  • Strong working knowledge of NEC contracts (NEC3/NEC4)
  • Ideally working towards RICS chartership (full support provided)
