An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Associate Quantity Surveyor to join their cost management team. This is a senior client-facing role offering genuine variety autonomy and the opportunity to take ownership of projects from early feasibility through to completion.
Youll play a key role in shaping commercial strategy supporting project delivery and acting as a trusted advisor to a diverse client base.
What Youll Be Doing
- Leading cost management services across a broad portfolio of high-value developments (typically 10m200m)
- Providing full commercial oversight including cost planning procurement strategy risk management and final accounts
- Acting as a key client advisor presenting clear and confident commercial recommendations
- Working closely with multidisciplinary teams across planning development and project management
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the QS team
- Managing multiple schemes simultaneously across different regions
Project Exposure
Youll be involved in a diverse range of major UK schemes including:
- Large-scale residential and mixed-use developments (up to 200m)
- Build-to-rent and co-living schemes across key UK cities
- High-end residential and luxury hotel developments including mixed-use hospitality schemes
- Multi-unit regeneration and development pipelines for repeat institutional clients
- Coordinated regional programmes spanning multiple live projects simultaneously
What Were Looking For
- MRICS qualified (or equivalent) Quantity Surveyor
- Strong consultancy background delivering complex projects from inception to completion
- Excellent knowledge of JCT NEC or other standard forms of contract
- Strong experience in cost planning procurement tender analysis risk management and final accounts
- Confident client-facing communicator with experience engaging senior stakeholders
- Proven ability to manage multiple live projects
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members
