Are you a people-oriented detail-driven professional who enjoys sales customer service and creating exceptional living experiences AREY Group is seeking a Leasing Consultant to join our property management team and play a key role in driving leasing success and resident satisfaction.
About the Role
As a Leasing Consultant you will be the first point of contact for future residents and a key ambassador of our community. Youll manage the entire leasing processfrom first inquiry to move-inwhile supporting resident retention marketing initiatives and daily community operations.
What Youll Do
Sales & Marketing
- Meet with prospective residents assess their needs and present available lofts
- Respond promptly and professionally to phone email text and in-person inquiries
- Follow up with prospects using CRM/lead management tools to close leases
- Maintain strong knowledge of the community floor plans pricing and competitors
- Conduct market surveys and participate in outreach and marketing events
- Ensure all marketing materials signage and online listings are accurate and up to date
Customer Service & Resident Relations
- Provide exceptional customer service with a positive professional demeanor
- Support resident retention programs and community events
- Address resident concerns with patience empathy and follow-through
- Maintain curb appeal common areas models and vacant lofts to company standards
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and company safety guidelines
Administrative & Office Support
- Prepare and process leases addendums and renewal notices
- Maintain accurate resident files and documentation in property management software
- Coordinate move-ins and move-outs
- Answer phones document communications and assist with work orders
- Support daily opening/closing of the leasing office and general office organization
What Were Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1 year of apartment or property management experience preferred
- Strong communication organizational and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook); OneSite/RealPage experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to walk the community frequently and lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
- Valid drivers license reliable transportation and auto insurance
Schedule & Work Environment
- Full-time non-exempt position
- Occasional travel or assignment to other communities may be required
- Salary: $17-$21 based on experience
