Position Summary
Wesley Manor Retirement Community is seeking a professional courteous and dependableReceptionist (PRN)to serve as a first point of contact for residents families visitors and staff. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming front-desk environment managing incoming calls assisting with administrative support and helping ensure smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills solid computer proficiency and the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced senior living environment
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Greet residents families visitors vendors and staff in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Answer screen and direct incoming phone calls promptly and courteously.
- Provide general information and assistance to visitors and callers while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
- Monitor the front desk and lobby area to help maintain an organized and positive first impression of the community.
- Receive and distribute mail deliveries and packages as appropriate.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing data entry copying scanning and document preparation.
- Maintain visitor logs sign-in procedures and other front desk records as required.
- Support communication between departments by relaying messages accurately and timely.
- Assist with scheduling clerical support and other routine office duties as assigned.
- Observe privacy and confidentiality standards when handling sensitive information.
- Follow all company policies procedures and customer service expectations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge Skills and Abilities):
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous receptionist front desk customer service or administrative support experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and email systems.
- Ability to multitask stay organized and work effectively in a busy environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact respectfully with older adults families team members and guests.
- Ability to work independently while also supporting a team environment.
- Professional appearance sound judgment and dependable attendance.
