What Were Looking For:
Detroit Recovery Project (DRP) is currently seeking full-time Therapists to support our integrated behavioral health this role you will provide clinical expertise in managing complex casework delivering intensive therapy and developing individualized treatment plans that support recovery and overall well-being. The Therapist will work with individuals groups and families ensuring that persons served receive high-quality person-centered care across both mental health and substance use disorder (SUD) treatment.
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $70000$75000 annually based on non-discriminatory factors such as skills experience and licensure level. This is a salaried-exempt position and is not eligible for overtime compensation.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Conduct screenings comprehensive assessments and diagnoses for individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
- Develop and implement individualized trauma-informed treatment plans
- Provide individual group and family therapy services
- Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings and collaborate with internal teams families and external partners
- Coordinate referrals for additional services (e.g. medical housing recovery supports) and monitor client engagement
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the EMR system
- Demonstrate flexibility in scheduling to meet client and program needs
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Social Work Counseling or a related behavioral health field
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health and/or substance use disorder setting (or equivalent combination of education and experience) is preferred
- Limited or Full Licensure in the State of Michigan (e.g. LLMSW LMSW LLPC LPC TLLP LLP LP)
- SUD credential preferred including:
- MCBAP Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC) or
- CAADC CAADC-DPor
- Willingness to obtain SUD credential within a designated timeframe
- Experience working with co-occurring populations strongly preferred
- Valid and unrestricted Michigan Drivers License and current insurance
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with EMR systems (e.g. NextGen) preferred
- Onsite clinical supervision provided for limited license clinicians including support toward full licensure and SUD credentialing (CAADC/CAADC-DP)
