The Role

Due to significant growth MCA Engineering is looking for a Workshop Leading Hand Boilermaker with 3-5 years experience in a similar role. This is a fantastic relocation opportunity for someone whos ready to take the next step in their careerand enjoy a new lifestyle in a regional town with bigopportunities.

Youll lead and mentor a team of skilled tradespeople and apprentices in our workshop. You must bring hands-on leadership experience a focus on safety and a passion for the trade.

Responsibilities:

• Leading a team of trades and apprentices in a workshop environment
• Daily reporting and documentation
• Overseeing and reviewing quality of work
• WHS Proven ability to always adhere to safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
• A strong work ethic and a keen eye for detail
• A commitment to quality and pride in your work
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

About you:

• Cert III Trade Fabrication at a minimum
• White Card
• Forklift license and confined space ticket Would be an advantage
• Experience as a Supervisor / Leading Hand within a mining company would be viewed favourably
• Positive attitude
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol testing.
