Managed by Sunshine Coast Events Centre Pty Ltd were all about creating amazing experiences and building a dynamic values-driven team.RoleWere looking for a Kitchen Hand/Cook to support our kitchen operations with a focus on high-quality food preparation and presentation. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic environment. HoursOur business is event driven which requires flexibility in your availability to work both day and evening shifts. Although not every weekend has events providing Weekend availability is also essential for this role.Your main duties will include:Assist with food prep cooking and presentation according to our standards.Keep work areas clean and organized including dishwashing cleaning and equipment storage.Adhere to food safety and hygiene practices.Learn various cooking techniques under the guidance of our senior chefs.Help with inventory management and kitchen support tasks.Requirements:Certificate of Education or equivalent; culinary training is a plus.Basic cooking knowledge A current QLD food safety certificate.Strong interest in a culinary career and eagerness to learn.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.Good communication skills and flexibility for evenings weekends and holidays.BenefitsThis is a casual role offering great rates of pay.
