Job Summary
Essential Functions:
- Usespecialty measuring equipment to test industrial HVAC units.
- Troubleshoot electrical/mechanical/refrigeration issues.
- Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly.
- Change out refrigerant tanks and othergases.
- Working knowledge of electrical schematics and electro-mechanical components.
- Must be capable of lifting the use of lifting equipment.
- Must have a working knowledge of brazing equipment and common hand tool useincludingmeasuring equipment.
- Perform pre-testunit inspections.
- Complete unit paperwork and QC checklist.
- Work involves varying degrees of precision and control where damage could be caused by lack of required skill.
- Reportdefective equipment to Supervisor.
Safety Responsibilities:
- Gain knowledge of applicable health and safety legislation as well as plant safety rules to perform duties safely and in compliance with allKCCrules and regulations.
- Participate intoolbox talks & monthly training.
- Take every reasonable precaution for the protection ofyourcoworkers.
- Take immediate action to address unsafe acts or conditions and report issues tomanagement.
- Assist inaccident investigations(as needed)to identify the root cause in a timely manner.
- Complete accident and incident reports(near miss)in a timely manner.

Position Type/ Hours of Work:

Education & Experience:

- Strong electrical background
