We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionateCommunity Support Specialist (CSS)to support our MyCare Ohio program and clinical teams. What Youll Do As a Community Support Specialist you will provide essential administrative clerical and coordination support to Waiver Service Coordinators and program staff. Key Responsibilities: - Perform general administrative and clerical duties including typing correspondence filing and organizing records charts reports and program documents
- Manage telephone inquiries route calls and assist with communication between participants providers and staff
- Assist with scheduling coordination and follow-up for participant services
- Enter and maintain accurate data in agency and program systems
- Compile organize retrieve and maintain case records and filing systems
- Obtain records from hospitals providers and community partners as needed
- Process mailings scanning faxing and distribution of documents
- Monitor office supplies and equipment needs
- Maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with AOoA policies and HIPAA requirements
- Support departmental and organizational activities assigned
Qualifications - Associate Degree in Social Services Business Medical Assistance or related fieldpreferred
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in human services healthcare medical office or social service settingpreferred
- Strong computer and data entry skills required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including customer service
- Ability to interact professionally with staff providers and the public
- Ability to lift carry push or pull items weighing up to 10 pounds as required for the performance of essential job duties.
- Reliable transportation required
Skills & Competencies - Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion
- Ability to complete documentation accurately and promptly
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Schedule & Work Environment - Schedule:Four (4)-day work week (MondayThursday OR TuesdayFriday)
- Location:Toledo Ohio (some local travel required)
- Office-based role supporting secure handling of confidential information and collaboration with clinical staff
- Regular predictable on-site attendance required
