The HUD Service Coordinator provides case management and referral services to residents needing assistance. Your goal is to establish contacts with all agencies and service providers in the community and determine the best options in service pricing to ensure individualized flexible and creative services for residents.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Social Work Gerontology Psychology or Counseling accepted. (5 years of HUD Service Coordinator experience without degree will be considered).
- 2 years ofcase management or social work experience
- Working knowledge of Federal State and local laws and requirements related to elderly and disabled programs as well as non-governmental networks related to geriatric services.
- Must have or be able to obtain Service Coordinator Certification within 12 months of initial hiring (Training and testing will be provided).
- Proven 2 years with Microsoft Office andExcel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Social Work Gerontology Psychology or Counseling is preferable.
- Bilingual - Spanish and English
Compensation*$20 $22
