Description
RPO Recruitments client a well-established civil consulting engineering firm based in Pretoria is seeking to appoint a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Civil Draughtsperson / Designer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a young professional looking to develop both technical draughting and design skills within a dynamic project environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce accurate civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD (and/or Civil 3D where applicable)
- Assist engineers with basic civil design work including roads stormwater and related infrastructure
- Prepare layouts detail drawings and as-built drawings according to project requirements
- Interpret engineering sketches and convert them into technical drawings
- Ensure all drawings comply with company standards and project specifications
- Assist with revisions and updates to drawings as projects evolve
- Provide general technical support to the engineering team
Requirements:
- Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering Draughting or related field
- 02 years experience in a civil engineering draughting environment
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Civil 3D experience will be advantageous)
- Basic understanding of civil engineering principles (roads earthworks stormwater)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work well in a team and take instruction from senior engineers
- Eagerness to learn and develop design capability over time
