The Sales Assistant plays a key role in supporting the Sales Team by providing administrative organizational and customer service assistance to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This role is responsible for coordinating sales activities preparing documents and reports managing customer inquiries and assisting with follow-up tasks to help drive revenue growth and client satisfaction.
Essential Functions:
- Prepare correspondence documents reports and official records for the team.
- Communicate with internal associates leadership and external clients as needed.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Promptly answer calls and respond to emails.
- Assist with and/or manage (when needed) team projects.
- Maintains all quotes documentation with accurate pricing and configurations.
- Maintains all sales demonstrations tools and applications.
- May develop presentations of potential customers.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- High School diploma required bachelors degree preferred.
- P&C License or the ability to acquire strongly encouraged.
- At least one year experience in a P&C agency or environment.
- Demonstrated ability in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to learn new and proprietary computer program/systems is a must.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to move from project to project easily.
- Above average skills in email and phone etiquette.
- Customer/Client Focus.
- Personal Effectiveness/Creditability.
