Job Overview: A Press Brake Operator sets up operates and maintains press brake machines to bend shape and form metal sheets according to specifications. Responsibilities include reading blueprints selecting proper tooling adjusting machine settings and ensuring precision and quality control. The operator must follow safety procedures inspect finished parts and make necessary adjustments to maintain accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate press brake machines
- Bend shape and form sheet metal to specifications
- Read blueprints and work orders
- Select and install tooling
- Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy
- Use measuring tools such as calipers gauges and tape measures
- Follow safety and quality standards
- Package and prepare finished parts
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Were looking for candidates who have the foundation to succeed - whether youre an experienced operator or more entry level and ready to develop your skills. We will train the right person!
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to use measuring tools accurately
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and job packets.
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
