As a Sales Account Representative at Hutcheon & Pearce youll be the go-to expert forcustomers across your designated Area of Responsibility (AOR) guiding them tothe right construction equipment solutions for their needs.
Hutcheon & Pearce offers compact construction gear to large-scale construction and agricultural machinery forestry equipment to ride-on mowers youll offer tailored advice that helpsdrive customer success. You will be more than just a salesperson youll be a strategic partner staying ahead of product developments finance options and industry trends to deliver smart value-driven solutions. Build long-term relationships support local businesses and help power productivity across multiple industries with a brand known for quality John Deere.
Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
- Represent the company in machinery sales building lasting relationships with customers.
- Stay informed on product features benefits and competitive offerings.
- Engage in ongoing sales training to sharpen your skills and industry knowledge.
- Maintain accurate customer records using sales tools like EQUIP Handle and Sales Centre.
- Follow a structured sales process to ensure smooth and successful transactions.
- Conduct hands-on equipment demonstrations in the field.
- Assist customers with financing options to secure new and used equipment.
- Support customers beyond the sale working with Service Specialists to optimise equipment performance.
The Ideal Candidate should have:
- 1 years equipment sales experience.
- Knowledge of the Construction Industry and practices preferred.
- Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and Internet functions.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Excellent customer relationship skills.
- Ability to analyse and interpret basic sales reports.
- Attention to detail.
