An opportunity for a Logistics Contract & Operations Manager has arisen within Airbus Operations in Getafe. We are looking for a strategic yet hands-on professional to bridge the gap between our operational needs and our Logistics Service Providers (LSP) ensuring excellence in every link of our supply chain.

The Logistics team is in charge of orchestrating the complex flow of materials that keep our production lines moving. We operate in a multicultural and fast-paced environment where precision is non-negotiable.

The jobholder will reinforce our Logistics Organization taking part in the management of high-stakes service contracts and the implementation of optimized logistical footprints. Your mission will be to ensure that our providers deliver the performance cost-efficiency and quality required to support our most advanced aerospace programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The main tasks of the jobholder will be:

  • Logistics Performance: Oversee end-to-end logistical activities and drive continuous improvement by monitoring KPIs focused on cost quality and environmental impact.

  • Provider Management: Act as the primary lead for Logistics Service Providers (LSP) ensuring contractual compliance validating scope changes and leading negotiations on pricing and volumes.

  • Operational Optimization: Design and implement End-to-End solutions managing surface footprints and assessing the impact of planning changes on warehouse layouts and flows.

  • Stakeholder Alignment: Liaise with Finance to monitor budgets and collaborate with internal departments to implement and challenge Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure rigorous adherence to Airworthiness Quality EHS and Dangerous Goods regulations leading root-cause analyses and mitigation plans when necessary.

  • Audit & Governance: Plan and execute audits in coordination with the Quality organization driving corrective actions to maintain the highest industry standards.

SKILLS

  • Education: Degree in Engineering (Industrial Organization) or a Masters in Logistics/Supply Chain. Equivalent demonstrable experience will also be considered.

  • Experience: Between 57 years in logistics operations warehouse engineering or consulting with a proven track record of implementing layouts and operational flows.

  • Technical Knowledge: Strong command of Logistics Operations and Stakeholder Management. Experience with Application Lifecycle Management tools and Google Suite is a plus.

  • Soft Skills: We value autonomy integrity and a customer-oriented global picture view. You must be an effective communicator with the empathy and decisiveness needed to lead in a networking mode.

  • Languages: Spanish and an Advanced level of English (C1).

  • Valuable: Experience in complex contract negotiations or large-scale industrial transformations.
