Youlloversee a team of skilled technicians supporting a large fleet of Ricoh print devices and related software service offering growingyoullalso help expand delivery into broader field service opportunities beyondprint related services.
KeyResponsibilities
Leadership & People Management
- Champion a forward-lookingculturebringingnew ideas improving ways of working and helping the team adapt to change.
- Contribute to the MDPS Leadership Teamprovidingoperational insights and collaborating on strategy and continuous improvementinitiativesacross the business.
- Provide leadership and support to the Field Services team across onsite resources administrativefunctionsand service control.
- Analyse team and individual performanceidentifyingtraining and development needs
- Liaise closely with keyproductsuppliersand service vendorstoensure value from our relationships and drive ongoingservice continuity
Service & Field Operations
- Manage service contractsjobquoting parts ordering and stock controlacross multiplelocations
- Oversee daily Print Field Services operations including SLA complianceand escalations
- Leadinstallation projectsproviding oversight and support to your team
- Take responsibility for all aspects of service management within JIM2 ERP.
- Maintain parts pricing system updates servicereportingandtrend analysis
- Maintain oversight of allField service operations to drive an exceptional customer experience.
Customer Experience
- Build trusted client relationships and act as anescalation point whenrequired
- Manage customer enquiriesfeedbackand complaints
- Maintain strong product knowledge andparticipateinongoing training
- Managecustomersservice agreementsmonitoringcontractperformanceand technician utilisation
- Proactively strengthen customer relationships through clear communication and service management
ABOUT YOU
Essential
- Proven experience in a Field Services Manager or senior leadership role (PrintITor related industry)
- Technical capability across hardware(ideally print devices)softwareand basicnetworking
- Experience managing service teamsSLAsand customer contracts
- Excellent communication customerserviceand stakeholder management skills
- Ability toperformunder pressure while driving service quality and profitability
- A valid Class C drivers license and willingness to travelbetweenlocations
Desirable
- Technical certifications or vocational training in electronics computersystemsor related disciplines
