Position Overview

FirearmsInstructorsare responsible forproviding quality training ensuring that each student has a productive challenging and meaningful experience in the classroom or on the firing range. The primary responsibility of each Instructor is to ensure the safety and well-being of all Midwest Shooting Center Studentswhile adhering to the Midwest Shooting Center curriculum SOPs and best practices.

WhatYoullDo

• Provide instruction forsmall group sessionsutilizingprescribed curriculum

• Executecourse curriculum as directed

• Manage training schedule effectivelymaintainingminimum scheduling expectations

• Evaluates the abilities of individual participants todeterminesuitable corrective or remedial training

• Maintains overall safety and organization of the training environment

• Ensures safety of students; communicates and oversees compliance with Company policy procedures and safety guidelines

• Ensures accountability for all training equipment

• Identifiesthe requirements needed tomaintainrequired certifications

• Completes anyadditionaltraining and/or certifications required by theindustry

• Other duties as assigned
