Description
Job Overview:
The Seasonal Warehouse Assistant is responsible for receiving inputting sorting loading and unloading products and performing various warehouse activities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Receives incoming inventory items logs into warehouse system and stocks inventory in the proper location.
- Fills customer orders
- Checks part numbers cleans and packs inventory items and loads them onto company vehicles for delivery.
- Inspects inventory for defects scratches or other damage. Remedies and corrects deficiencies within scope and notifies appropriate personnel for issues requiring escalated attention. Notifies Warehouse Supervisor of problems.
- Follows all company safety and accident procedures while on company premises or operating company vehicles or equipment.
- Process package and ship orders accurately
- Organize stocks and maintain inventory
- Examine ingoing and outgoing shipments
- Reports any customer problems or concerns immediately.
- Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures
- Keep warehouse clean and organized daily
- Consistently displays integrity responsibility accountability teamwork and ethics.
- Performs assigned job duties and responsibilities in accordance with company policies procedures and standard practices.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED
- Required one (1) years of experience working in a warehouse setting and in operating warehouse equipment and machines including without limitation a forklift; Or
- An equivalent combination of education and experience
